Every year Ms. Armeda does an awesome unit she designed about the Harlem Renaissance. Her students explore this powerful movement that happened in the 1920s and 30s in Harlem, NY. Her students explore the black expressions of vibrant jazz, dance, paintings, literature, poetry, and more during this magical age. Check out her students' work as they deeply analyze what all these works of art mean. We are so happy to have partnered up with your amazing kids this year!
